About TEKVOX

Mission

TEKVOX is the creator of the innovative, turnkey Drop-In A/V™ solutions: complete plug-n-play A/V systems that are ready to install and operate.  Engineered by A/V professionals, Drop-Ins are configured, integrated and tested in the company’s U.S. factory for right first time, ‘just works’ installation.

Drop-Ins are made for a wide variety of targeted classroom, conference room, collaboration and special-use configurations and all feature automated energy management, projector/monitor theft protection, remote support and management capabilities right out of the box.  Drop-Ins eliminate in-field programming while providing feature-rich, state-of-the-art A/V capabilities at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches.  Custom configurations are easily supported. Cloud-based monitoring and on-site maintenance are available as optional services.

TEKVOX makes owning and operating managed A/V systems affordable and hassle-free.

History

TEKVOX was formed by Mike Slattery to better address the modern teaching and collaboration needs for IT-friendly solutions. While working on various university campus control systems, it became apparent to Mike that a cost effective campus-wide equipment-monitoring energy-management and security system was needed. Existing solutions solutions were costly; requiring a skilled programmer and installer to complete.

Seeing that there was a real need for asset management, equipment, and security monitoring, Mike began to investigate the requirements for what it would take to develop such a product. While researching various systems from PC-based monitoring to control system monitoring, Mike has developed a system that is easy to install, program, and setup.
